Wheel Throwing Pottery Session

This is a one time class for students 16-adult. The instructor will give a demonstration at the beginning of the class to teach students the basics of throwing clay on a pottery wheel. Students will use the rest of class time to throw clay into a mug, bowl, vase or whatever they wish to create. Each participant will be given 2 lbs of clay to create with. If students want to make more than one item, extra clay can be purchased for $1.00 per pound. At the end of class students will choose a glaze color for their ceramic. All pottery will be left at the studio to dry and we will handle firing and glazing your ceramics. You will be notified when your ceramics are complete and ready for pick up. Please allow up to two weeks for drying, firing and glazing to be completed. All materials, supplies, and firing/glazing services are included.
