Let's make some pottery! This is a three day course for teens to learn how to throw pottery on a potters wheel. This course is beginner friendly but also great for students with experience who want to further develop their skills. Students will learn how to center clay and throw a cylinder. We will make a variety of ceramic items such as mugs, bowls, plates and more. At the end of the workshop, students will choose glaze colors for each of their ceramic pieces and will leave their ceramics at the studio to dry. We will then handle all of the glazing and firing for all pottery. Please allow a minimum of two weeks after the end of the workshop to allow for adequate drying, and firing time. We will notify you once student work is ready for pick up. All clay, materials, glazing and firing services are included in this workshop.
