This is a six week, intermediate pottery course for preteens and teens. Students should have already taken our beginner wheel throwing course and be confident in the basics of throwing clay on a wheel such as, centering clay, creating a cylinder, and making basic ceramic pieces. Our goal in this course is quality over quantity! Students who feel like they need more practice in this area are encouraged to take the beginner course again before moving onto the intermediate course. Students will work on refining their skills on the wheel and throwing clay with intention. We will spend more time developing our decorative skills and refining each piece to be the best it can be. All supplies, materials, and firing services are covered in this course.
